WHITNEY WARD FERGUSON

Whitney began her dance training at the age of three in her hometown of Memphis, TN at the Performing Arts of Germantown under the direction of Elizabeth Anne Brown. At Performing Arts she studied ballet, tap, hip hop, jazz and contemporary dance along with taking vocal training for 20+ years. She was chosen to participate on the competitive dance team which won many awards at various dance conventions including Tremaine, Access Broadway, Co.Dance, and also won awards and scholarships for her solos. Whitney started interning as a dance teacher at the age of 15, learning skills teaching the very young to pre-teens in all aspects of dance. She has studied ballet from dance mistresses from Ballet Memphis. In addition to this, she also danced for her high school dance team for 3 years, traveling to Orlando, FL to compete in the National Dance Competition. Her team placed 7th her senior year out of 80 teams. She continued her dance career at Mississippi State University where she was a member of the dance squad performing at football and basketball games. For the past four years, Whitney has taught and choreographed dance for Heritage Academy in Columbus, MS., coaching the dance teams at the elementary, middle school and Varsity levels where they have won nine State Championships including overall highest score. She recently returned from New York where she attended classes at Broadway Dance Center and Alvin Alley Dance Theatre. She just completed the choreography for the production of the play Legally Blonde the Musical at Heritage Academy. Whitney is engaged to Columbus native Scott Ferguson and will be married in September.

MORGAN LEWELLEN
Morgan began her dance career at the age of two at Nadine Vosse Smith Dance Studio in Collierville, TN. Her dance training includes Tap, Jazz, Ballet (American and Russian styles), Contemporary and Hip Hop. Morgan was a member of Nadine's competition team and attended National conventions including Company Dance, The Pulse, and Hollywood Vibe. Her many awards and titles include: Dance USA National Champion in 2000, Nexstar National Champion in 2004 and 2008, NDA National Champion in 2007 and 2008 (Junior and Senior Divisions), Hall of Fame National Champion 2011, Dance USA Finalist 1999, 2000, 2001, Showstopper Finalist in 2003, 2005 and 2007, Nexstar Finalist in 2004, 2008 and 2010 and Hall of Fame Finalist in 2011. Beginning in 2008, Morgan began her teaching career instructing four to six year olds dance combinations and competition routines. She has also directed the dance team try out clinic for the Heritage Academy Junior High and Varsity dance teams for the past two years. Morgan is a Communications Major at Mississippi State University and plans to graduate May 2015.

LYNDSEY LAMAS MILLER
Lyndsey began her dance training at age 4 at Kelli's Steps School of Dance, Biloxi, MS. From age seven through eighteen she was a member of the internationally award winning Kelli's Showstoppers competition team. Ms. Lyndsey has attended numerous workshops, conventions and performed and/or competed in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Gulf Coast Carnival Association Ball, and Mardi Gras. In 2002 she became an instructor and artistic director here at the English School of Dance, where she has organized and directed our competition dancers. Lyndsey also earned a Masters Degree in Architectural Design at Mississippi State University, where she currently serves as an assistant professor. Lyndsey is looking forward to another successful and competitive year at the English School of Dance where she will be working one on one with our Prima Company.

MEGAN TRAWEEK
Teacher Assistant
Megan has danced with the English School of Dance since 2006. She has participated in numerous competitions with the English Dance Company from the age of 11 to 16. Megan has taken dance workshops with the MSU campus and Dance Teachers United. She has performed at the Cotton District Festival and has participated in classical and contemporary ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop and pointe. Megan first started assisting with classes in 2010 and has continued ever since. She is currently homeschooled and a junior in high school. Megan wishes to attend Mississippi State University for child development and special needs education.
